Vegans have become a very large part of my life lately, especially my family members who only eat organic foods, and I’d like to harp on it a little. I love my friend Elaine, but she’s a vegan. It’s a bitter struggle to pick a restaurant that suits both her needs and mine. I feel as though meat is very important, it brings us all together; especially during holidays. We’re carnivores on this planet, lets face it, and I’d like to thank the cavemen for slaying that first mammoth. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE animals, in fact I get called an animal freak often; but I eat so much meat that I’m almost a mutant composed of all the animals I eat. Many people would agree with this making a crude remark about my “chicken legs”. In all honesty, how far is too far when it comes to nutrition? I’ve noticed the color fading from my friends body, and her limbs are starting to look leaner, thinner. I’m wondering if giving up what the meatatarians crave is also like giving up your good health. But according to vegans, they live the healthier way.. so good for them. I haven’t read anything about that many casualties of people with vegan diets, so I’m guessing it’s relatively normal. Knowing this, one must also acknowledge the fact that it’s absolutely a lifestyle choice, and for me, I feel as though the T-Rex’s had the right idea. Are you on team Mcdonald’s, or team Peter’s Cornucopia?

I miss my doggy. Very much. But today was my last day here, and my boyfriend and I went out for dinner at one of our favorite restaurants. He looked very handsome in worn pumas, ae jeans, and grey henley with an abercrombie moose necklace. I wanted to go a little more cutsie.. tell me what you think of my new dress. 🙂

TODAY I SAW THREE TREES WITH DYING LEAVES. That makes me so so so excited that FALL is coming. I love summer. I love the warm sun and the ocean breezes. But fall is when you get to drink hot cocoa, and hot lattes, outside! When you get to buy that beautiful new jacket, or those gorgeous knee high boots. When everyone gets back together to show everyone how they’ve changed. And don’t even get me started on halloween. Be ready for very expensive things.. (don’t worry, they’ll go on sale in october!) and for lots of chilly football games. These two pictures represent my favorite transition from summer clothes to fall clothes.. because they’re so cute.
